I don’t usually have three projects on the go at one time, but I suddenly realised that neither of the two I’m working on are suitable to carry around!

21 April 2011: I really don’t like this yarn. It’s splitty and coarse, and the twist is very strange! There’s a thin black thread wound around the main thread, but it seems shorter than the main thread so that it creates loops in the main thread. I’ll be glad when I’ve finished this shawl :0(

26 April 2011: This turned out much better than I expected! The colours in the yarn are so pretty, but I still think it’s a little coarse and I wouldn’t buy it again.

30 April 2011: I’ve just blocked my shawl and decided the yarn’s not as bad as I thought, so I’ve revised my rating to 4 stars. And am starting another shawl with the ball of Karneol I still have in my stash :0)
