I tested this pattern for Sue because I couldn’t resist the crazy red bird!
It’s a quick and easy hat to make and it’s a hit with everyone who has seen it.
The only thing I did differently from the pattern is I finish my elements (eyes, beak, feathers etc.) off and sew them on using a needle and thread. It’s personal preference and I just like the way it looks better. I usually do this with all my “applique” pieces.
It was fun to make and show off!
