I’ve been admiring this sweater for a few months in Crochet Today Mag, and finally I’m ready to do it!

I started swatching. Patterns calls for J and even though I knew that I’d have to go smaller I started there. Way too big. Just in case I tried I. Still too big. Gave H a shot - right on the money.

I’m working on the back panel. The shell stitch is super easy to remember and after my swatching experience is looking great. It moves along quickly and the yarn is nice to work with. More later!!
