i altered the pattern to fit my body

i was very deliberate in where i started and ended my colors. i started the main jacket in the darkest color and ended with dark. i did the same with the sleeves. i joined the new skein of yarn where the last skein left off.

fsc with j hook (207- XXL)

rows 1-20 moss stitch with k hook (104 moss stitches across)

row 21- made 47 moss stitches, made corner, 11 moss stitches, next corner, 47 moss stitches.

rows 22-46 increase.

row 47- moss stitch across

row 48- moss stitch 30, skip 30 for arm hole, moss stitch 30.

row 49-108 - 99 moss stitches across.

i added another section of the dark to light to dark transition, but it was way too long, so i ended up ripping out over half a skein.

arm holes- (i cut some yarn out so that i had a full ombre on the arms- dark to light to dark).
round 1-75- i went around with 32 moss stitches, but decreased sc2tog on rounds 16, 31, 46, and 61. round 75 ended with 28 moss stitches.

7/3/18- i entered this jacket in the 2018 marin county fair and won 1st place in category: crochet, jacket.
