i made (2) 13 rounds in the granny square and joined as i went on the last round to the last three sets of granny stitches on the neck, left 5 sets of stitches open for the arm hole, joined the rest of the body, and back the other direction. i added four more rounds of granny stitches to the sleeves (in the round), and 8 more rounds to the bottom (in the round).

9/27/16- L said it was too long, so i ripped out 4 rounds from the bottom. hopefully she’ll wear it now.
