i was originally making this as a small shawl to go over my dress for a wedding. i really don’t like the outcome. the yarn is too bulky for the pattern and the drape doesn’t lay well. also, the half sleeves were awkward with the heartland yarn, so i took four rows off of the sleeves.

9/3/18- i put it aside until today. i finished the edging on the sleeves and weaved in the ends. i still wasn’t satisfied with the drape, so i added fringe. i think the fringe made it look worse.

i would highly advise those who are planning to use heartland yarn to avoid it for this pattern.
