with a 4.00mm hook, i got 126 moss stitches across in 1 color sequence.

i made a swatch to determine if the colors repeated, because i knew it would be a long repeat if it did.

i made a chain in a solid color and started with the beginning of my skein of earthy.
i used my hidden starting chain technique, featured on Marly Bird’s blog:

it took 126 moss stitches to get through one color sequence. even with a 4.00mm hook, it was sometimes difficult to get 1 stitch out of some colors.

i didn’t write down my color sequence because there were too many and a lot of the colors blended into each other.

1 skein made 49” across and 5” tall, and 23 rows of moss stitch.
