Notes

it is easiest to work through a half sequence when the color sequence is an odd number. this way, you do not have to worry about the edges. if you keep your number of stitches the same every time, the colors will fall into place.

my color sequence for this yarn is 19.
2 burgundy
3 black
2 charcoal
2 grey
2 charcoal
3 black
2 burgundy
3 gold

each row has 10 moss stitches:
row 1 - the first 10 colors of the sequence
row 2 - the last 9 colors of the sequence plus the first color in the sequence.

9/2/18- picked this back up since i started it almost 2 months ago. i made it 72” long and added fringe. i color controlled the fringe by where the last row pooled.

9/3/18- my husband’s aunt carol requested a scarf like this but shorter. so i undid the fringe on the working side, ripped 3 zig zag sections out, and put the fringe back on. easier than making a new scarf!
it now measures 62” long (70” with fringe).
