yarn: i love this yarn print in green, turquoise, and red.
i don’t think i’m going to continue this- i just wanted to see what it would look like.
i know these work because i made a blanket in another print colorway, but these are extremely long sequences. it is also hard to see the transition between colors.
i made a swatch using a 5.00mm hook and got 327 dc stitches in one sequence. i put the numbers in the planned pooling calculator and got some cool results.
it is totally possible to make a blanket in half sequence across (162 dc stitches across) and would fit a queen or king size bed.
a whole sequence would be double that width, about 12 feet wide, and so so so much yarn.
