chain with k hook

56 stitches per color with J hook, 1/2 sequence

169 dc across with a 2 stitch offset (1/2 sequence plus one stitch). i started halfway through the navy (26 stitches).

each tall diamond was 56 rows high (mimics the amount of stitches per color)

i used 14 skeins for the main piece which measured 60” wide by 84” tall. (without the border)

for the border, i did 5 rows of dc with matching solid yarn, and a reverse sc in the edge with the stripes yarn.

the bernat stripes yarn was:
1) amazing to the touch
2) soft and squishy
3) loaded with knots (i found 5 knots in one of my skeins)
