i used the remaining yarn that i had from another project to make a baby blanket. i used the planned pooling calculator to find a pattern i liked.

i used the hdc v stitch, 90 hdc across, 63 hdc in each of the 6 colors (counting every stitch as i go to keep the pattern going).

self striping yarn pattern measures 34” wide (and each skein yielded me 9” high).

i used a little less than 3 skeins and worked the pattern until i ran out of yarn. i wanted the beginning and end to match up, but i didn’t have enough yarn.

the border is 4 separate solid colors using hdc. the next row of stitches went between the stitches of the row below it.
the edge is a reverse sc in the meadow stripes.
