i went in the round in this pattern so that there wasn’t an opening or a seam in the back. i also made it wider so it wasn’t so tight on her body.

i was not impressed with the sudden decrease on the bottom of the tail. i also made extra rows to make it longer.

i incorporated the mermaid tail fin pattern by michelle pippin, as the one on the nadia faud pattern was very small.
i started at on end and decreased and when i got to the middle, i increased. i made this piece in one continuous piece rather than two separate pieces.

tail was made using scrap yarn and incorporated white sparkly yarn throughout the colors to give it an extra shimmer.
