yarn: i love this yarn (ILTY) in birdsong

here’s another yarn with a HUGE color sequence and not very suitable for planned pooling (with the exception of my last picture at 1/4 sequence across).

one full sequence was 520 dc across using an i 5.5mm hook. it measured 15 feet long and used 1.5 oz out of the 5 oz skein. it has 44 separate sections of color before the sequence repeats.

even if you did a half sequence, it would still be over 7.5 feet wide and only yield you 6 rows high. and good luck in connecting the new skein

even though i would not use this yarn for pooling, i like to play around with my numbers in the calculator to see what else I could get. i could manageably do 1/4 sequence, but i’m not in love with it.

i will use this yarn for a non pooling project.
