i started with an H hook, but half way through, needed an i hook because the colors changed half way through the skein.

i made a chain and did 10 moss stitches across (starting with 2 dark purple), crocheting around the original chain on rows 1 and 2. this technique is demonstrated in my video here:

my color sequence was as followed:
4 dark purple
3 light blue
5 light green
4 lavender
1 brown
2 gold

i used one whole skein, starting and ending with purple equally spaced in the corners.

i had a bit of yarn left over from the skein which i incorporated into the fridge with the other following complimentary colors:
bernat satin in lilac
red heart super saver in aruba sea
i love this yarn fan pride in green/gold (only using the gold portion)
