each color made 50 double crochet (except for the navy which i made 51 in order to get the 3 stitch offset). i went through a half sequence one the first row, plus one dc.

all 5 colors in the sequence are basically the same length. each color repeats 4-5 times within the skein.

27ft per color/ 9 yards
135 ft per sequence /27 yards

one skein made 9 full rows high with a tiny bit left over.

9/16/18- i decided to turn this panel into a cowl. it can be easily wrapped around the neck twice and secured with a shawl pin. i also made a new “foundation” chain since the original one was so tight. i crocheted through the base of the first row dcs with the left over yarn from the skein.
