There are a lot of things I would change about this pattern the next time I do it.

Cast on and just knit the collar right away. No need to go back and do it later since it’s just a simple 1x1 rib.

Change where the increases are on the last few rounds around the jacquard ladderback. Don’t need to put them right in the middle of this long run. Hide them closer to the edges.

Change the short rows after color work to German style.

Move BOR after color work to one side instead of straight down the middle(just so that the tension shift when blending skeins is less visible).

The pattern itself is not difficult, but the construction choices and layout of the actual document didn’t seem super intuitive to me. Top down sweaters are fairly simple and this seemed to overcomplicate several steps in the process through murky directions.
