Notes

CO 72 sts using LT PCO (waste yarn for thumb, project yarn for needle loops)
K9 rnds; 24 sts on waste yarn LT PCO 24, p24, LT PCO 24.
K10 rnds; 3 needle join. Work hat body for 17 rnds, switch to simple hat crown.
Join 24 sts from each half of hat hem from BOR to start of purl sts. 3 needle join. Knit in scarf pattern for ~30’’ (or longer), BO. Repeat for 24 sts on each half of EOR opening in hem.

3274 sts in hat; 8016 in scarf total sts: 11,290

Currently just beginning body of hat. 48% hat complete; 14% project complete.

Finished with just a few yards remaining in the third skein. I’ll save the extra skein for a future project.
