Pattern is from Men’s Socks by Beehive, Series No. 62

Modifying a bit due to gauge difference, but also leg length. Sock calls for the Aladdin heel, which I have done already as an experiment in a solid color sock. Because this sock is knit flat through the intarsia of the leg and instep, I don’t feel like dealing with 4 seams, so I will omit the Aladdin heel for this sock. The yarn I’m using has nylon in it, so I’m not worried about wear, particularly since Regia has a 10 year guarantee. It’s incredibly durable.

Original CO # is 80 with a gauge of 10 sts/in. I’m getting 8.5 sts/in, so I cast on 68. Working k1p1 in the round 24 rnds (2’’) rather than 4.5’’. Will work in stockinette 12 rnds, rather than 14 to give 1’’ of MC before starting the intarsia.
Will add 1 st at BOR and EOR when I begin working flat, and working the first and last column color twice so that when I lose those columns with the seam, the st patt will be maintained.

Intarsia instructions are written, not charted, so I charted out the original pattern, and then modified by by narrowing and shortening it to accommodate my gauge.

Ribbed cuff and 1’’ stockinette ITR finished. 7.5%
