This towel is coming along swimmingly. I’m making it up as I go along. This yarn is so soft and so much nicer to knit with than sugar ‘n cream yarn.

The towel is done and I love it!!

I made up the pattern as I went along. As much as I like my kitchen towel it was pretty boring to knit and I don’t like how the bottom edge looks unfinished. I added the stockinette sections to this towel for visual (and knitting) interest. As I was nearing the end of the towel I decided that a ruffled edge would look cool. I’ve never knit a ruffle before so I read some tutorials and winged it. The ruffle looks exactly how I pictured it!! I did the same decrease bind off as I did on C’s shawl.
