12/8/11: In the past day or two I’ve gotten a burr in my ass about knitting a purple Homespun scarf. I cannot explain it. It’s something I must do.

I cast on 15 and knit 8” tonight. I’m just doing garter stitch. I’m not going for high fashion. I’m just trying to unseat that burr.

12/11/11: Cast off the scarf tonight. It’s simple and it’s long enough to wrap around and around my neck. I’m happy.
