10/18/09: The socks are done!

As with all of my recent socks, I’ve been carrying the heel flap pattern up a few rows after the gusset decreases are finished. I like both the look and fit of the longer heel flap.

10/4/09: The first sock is done (except for the bind off) and the second sock’s gusset decreases have begun.

5/23/09: Second foot is done and first heel is started.

4/23/09: The foot of the first sock is done. It’s 7” long. Second sock is cast on.

4/18/09: I decreased down to 60 stitches.

4/17/09: I cast these on yesterday and they are the socks I work on when I just have a few minutes here and there.

I originally cast on with a 2.00mm needle (size 0), but I didn’t like how it looked.

I cast on 6 stitches and increased to 64. A short ways into the foot, I decreased to 62 stitches.
