1/7/11: The socks made their debut today and overall I am very happy with them.

The heels slid down a tad bit and the legs got a little bit bunchy. Overall though…I’m thrilled.

8/23/10: Finally finished these socks. Life just got in the way.

Stats:

• CO 6
• Inc to 72
• ~ 7” foot
• After gusset decreases, only decrease down to 74
• 6” of ribbing after elongated heel flap.

I like this yarn. It did have some spots where the dye didn’t saturate the yarn.

6/19/10: Both heels are turned.

6/18/10: Finished the second heel flap.

6/16/10: The second foot is finished and I also started/finished the first heel flap.

6/7/10: I started and finished the second toe tonight.

6/6/10: I finished the foot of the first sock today. It is just shy of 7”. I finished the foot at the end of a dark purple stripe.

5/31/10: I finally started these socks again. I started and finished the first toe. I also knit a few rows of the foot.

11/8/09: I was almost finished with the foot of one sock and I ripped it out. I was knitting with Knit Picks Harmony needles and decided that I hated the needles too much to continue on.

So, I will cast on again with the Knit Picks metal needles.

6/12/09: I cast on the first sock tonight. I cast on 6 and increased to 72.
