Notes

2/10/19: After wearing these socks for almost nine years they have totally grown on me and they are one of my go-to pairs of hand knit socks. I love them and they are wearing very well. Yay!!

4/2/11: Socks are finished! ~6” ribbing (after heel flap) before cuff ribbing. ~2” 2x2 cuff ribbing.

3/19/11: I continue to plug away on these socks. I have one sock knit up to the heel turn and the other is up to the leg.

I’m doing a 5x2 ribbing on the leg.

I hate to say it, but I don’t really like these socks so far. I’ll wear them, but I won’t be hugging them, kissing them or calling them George.

2/13/11: Turned both heels today.

2/12/11: Finished the foot of the second sock. Knit both 2” heel flaps.

2/5/11: Finished the foot of the first sock. It is 7” long. 68 sts. Cast on the second sock.

1/28/11: I cast on 6 for the first sock tonight.

1/27/11: Separated the yarn and wound into separate balls. (I’m not a fan of knitting directly from the sock blank.)
