I love these socks - the pattern and yarn work really well together I think.
On paper they took me quite a while to knit, but in reality that involved them being put to one side for a month or two while I worked on Christmas presents. When I was actually working on them, the pattern was fairly quick to knit!
I used my own preferred rounded toe that fits my feet well, but otherwise followed the pattern.
