I fell in love with one of the charts from my Mary Jane Mucklestone book and used it to make this beanie.
I had originally wanted to use this chart for a jumper with a slightly variegated yarn (Fiori DK Midnight Blue & Amber) but because both yarns have bits of black in them the design looks messy whenever the black sections meet. Looks much better in solid colours.
Held the purple double, single strand of the black.
