Tried out a different type of decrease:
1) k4, k2tog all around
2) Purl
3) K2, k2 tog all around
4) Purl
5) k1, k2 together all around
6) Purl
7) k2 together

Not very keen on the rapid decrease rate - I think it makes it too flat across the top so I added a little pom pom which helps.

The 4 Seasons Marvel was given to me and was quite harsh to knit with. It softened up a lot after wet blocking though.

As usual, Peppermint Crisp used for scale!
