A walk through the (veggie) garden - we have beetroot, purple basil, dried lavender, and juniper berries.

Using Jumping Jacks as an inspiration for easy, fun, and quick1 toe up socks.

Incorporating some texture from It’s Tea Time into the solid colour leg portion


  • Provisional cast on 30 stitches
  • FLK toe 1-10-8-10-1
  • 2 rows of pink
  • Start 2-row stripes
  • Jogless stripe technique, jog on the inside of foot
  • 27 stripes to mini gusset
  • 7 stripes mini gusset - 14 rows. Increase in every 2nd row 7 times, lifted increases, 3 stitches in
  • FLK heel over 5-1-11-10-11-1-5
  • Blue stripe
  • Start decreasing in second row of purple stripe
  • Decrease to 64 stitches (pattern requires a multiple of 8) in every 2nd row
  • 23 stripes after turning the heel
  • Texture part: two knit rows in MC first, 2 repeats of texture pattern, 1 knit row
  • 12 rows of3/1 ribbing on 2mm needles, start with 1 knit row
  • Purl 1 row
  • Knit 6 rows on 2.25mm

Contrast colour for toes, heels, and ribbing: Rote Bete (beetroot)
Stripes 1: Wacholderbeere (juniper berry)
Stripes 2: Schwarzes Basilikum (Black basil)
Main colour: getrockneter Lavendel (dried lavender, more grey)

Toe: about 2g of CC
Heel: about 3g of CC
Ribbing: 2.5g of CC

Stripes: about 5.5g each of MC, S1, and S2
Texture: about 3g of MC
