I love the colour and the contrast between the two yarn qualities. SilkCashmere in the garter section, mulberry silk for the lace.

The SilkCashmere is really funny, it feels a bit like string when knitting, but the fabric is so soft and wispy. Amazing!

I’m knitting the first stitch as kbf rather than kfb and the last as ktbl.

Running out of yarn, so I’m binding off after row 39, modifying row 39 accordingly.

Doing a suspended instead of JSSBO, which looks odd in the fine yarn

Yarn after increase rows to 65 stitches: C 1 - 50g, used 2g
Yarn after working the body to 342 rows: C1 - 22g, used 28g
Yarn after garter ridges to set up lace: C1 - 15g, used 7g, C2 - 44g, used 6g
After bindoff: used the full skein of C2, ran out of C2 during bindoff and had to substitute with C1 for the last side

Size unblocked 45cm x 145cm
This blocked out much bigger than I thought it would: on the boards it’s 54cm x 202cm (21”x 78.5”)
