Notes

Swatch on 10x10cm:

  • 5.0mm washed 19 stitches and 26 rows
  • 5.0/5.5mm combo washed: 18 stitches and 24 rows

Doing the back and forth with a combination of 5.5 and 5.0mm needles to account for my loose purl rows, switching to pure 5.5mm in the round

Started the seams as simple knit stitches as stated in the pattern version I working from. Didn’t want to change to ktbl mid-seam when joining in the round.

Mods:

  • One additional row of full raglan increases, resulting in 168 stitches for body
  • One row of only arm increases resulting in 56 sleeve stitches
  • one row without increases until separation of sleeves I.e. = 5 additional rows
  • move the beginning of the purl from left to right. This way the line created by the purls will not cross-cross with the bag strap when I wear my bag messenger-style
  • start waist shaping 12 rows further down, doing the decreases every 4th row instead of every 6th to compensate
  • work one more hip increase a further 5 rows down
  • work the hood trimming /tunnel on 5.0mm needles, 12 rows, then bindoff

Did the entire body with nearly exactly three skeins.
