Ever since I saw Bev’s version, I’ve been humming the Carly Simon song whenever I saw the pattern. Hence the name… I also do hum while knitting :-)

Working body to 179 stitches.

Starting with 71g of yarn.
After small body and small lace chart:40g left, used 31g
After lace border chart: 29g left, used 11g
After picot edge: 24g left, used 5g
Total: 47g used

There’s more shifting of stitch markers in the lace border chart than indicated in the pattern.

Used 3.75 mm needle for the picots

Blocked size: 50cm deep and 180 cm wide
