Resistance was futile, it needed to happen.

Knitting this with modifications:

• Back hem only 2 inches as front
• Hems on 3.5mm needle
• Join in the round after the hems by knitting the edge stitches together and using the resulting stitch for a garter stitch faux seam
• Shortening the body by about 4 inches for a boxy version
• Knit in the round until sleeve increases are done
• kfb into seam stitch in the last round in preparation for separating front and back
• Decrease the one stitch by p2tog in the middle of the first Gansey detail
• sleeve ribbing, pick up 92 each
• Cowl neck, 112 stitches, 2 inches on 3.5mm needles, then 2 inches on 3.75mm, 2 inches on 4.0mm, the rest on 4.5mm -> app. 7 inches in total

Sleeve increases in the round and front - 2.2 skeins or 110g
Back from after increases to top - 1.8 skeins or 90g
Sleeve ribbing: 8g per sleeve
Cowl: 51g
