My first version is rather on the loose side even though I went down in the number of stitches for the foot. So this time around, I’m going down in needle size. Also, I like that fabric better for socks

Provisional cast on with 27 instep and 28 sole stitches

FLK toe over 1-9-7-9-1 stitches from instep stitches

Work pattern over 21 middle instep stitches

Mini gusset: increase 6 stitches on each side on every 2nd row

FLK heel over 4-1-10-10-10-1-4 stitches

Mini gusset: decrease to 49 stitches

Switch to 2.5mm needle for the leg

5 repeats of bull lace up the legs

1/1 ribbing for 12 rows
