The colour choice was inspired by my new MTB. Which I didn’t buy for its colours, btw…. Incidentally, I had similar colours in my stash and just played around. And a new idea popped up in my brain. Here we go!

Start mini gusset in row 6 of next repeat
Increase 1 stitch on each side in every 2nd row
Next CC row, FLK heel: 4+1+11+10+11+1+4
2 pattern repeats for decreases, start in row 3
Next pattern repeat, end of row 1: move BOR three stitches to the right
4 full pattern repeats
Smaller needles and CC: purl 1 row, k 1 row, p 1 row, Icelandic BO loosely on bigger needle
