My last effort in these yarn qualities turned out divine. I gave it away, though, so I’m having to do another one for me in my colours.

Using 3mm cubic needle for more even and tighter knitting, which did not work at all… Also, the needles (KnitPro, aka KnitPicks, aka KnittersPride) splintered spectacularly on me. Never again!

First skein of PaperSilk (MC) lasted exactly until the end of stripe 74, 50g left
After 75 stripes: used 34g of Ishtar Lace (CC), 66g left
After 100 stripes: 55g left of CC, 36g left of MC
After 122 (four-row) stripes: 45g left of CC, 21g left of CC
After 14 2-row stripes: 41g left of CC, 16g of MC
After BO: 30g left of CC
