Third pair of this pattern. First one got tossed because I hated the yarn, second one the yarn didn’t hold up. I hope third time’s the charm…. because I really, really like the pattern!

Starting mini-gusset after 6 inches / 15 cm

Gusset increases over 12 rows, increase 5 stitches on each side: k2, kfb, knit to last 4 stitches, kfb, k3
Increase in rows 1, 4, 7, 10, 13
FLK heel in row 15 over 5-1-10-9-10-1-5 stitches
Keep ribbing pattern down the heel
Decrease in rows 4, 7, 10, 13, 16
K2, ssk, knit to last 4 stitches, k2tog, k2

78 rows straight for foot

Toe:
Row 1 decrease on upper foot stitches only, 31 stitches sole and upper foot each
Then decrease on every 2nd round all around 7 times: 17 stitches
Then decrease in every round 4 times
Graft together
