Notes

Yarn was a custom order based on two skeins of that colour that I already have, one on the same base. So I was a bit surprised when I opened my parcel and found an emerald-green-greige variegation instead of the blue-grey-anthracite that I had expected. No less beautiful, yet - different. And having knit up the sweater, I fell very much in love. More so than with what I expected!

So I’m off to see how to tame my wild beauties :-)

Plan:
Darkest skein for all ribbing
Second to darkest to be alternated with lightest and wildest skein.
Least variegated for the sleeves, hopefully without alternating. nope, had to alternate on the sleeves as well….

Steps 1 and 2 of the plan seem to work.

Lengthening body by about an inch

Started front neckline about 1cm higher up, because apparently I can’t read ;-(

3 needle BO on shoulder seams

Sleeves:
pick up 58 stitches and do one additional set of short rows
Add more set of decreases, lengthened sleeve by 3.5cm
18 rows after last decreases

Body, incl. collar, took 280g
