So, I finally got my hands on the yummiest of yummy yarn. Kauni EQ, and have startet up on Autumn by Ruth Sørensen. Instead of leaves, I was inspired by the Damask Kauni on https://passingdowncrazy.wordpress.com/tag/damask-kauni/
Painstakingly, I replaced the leaves with the damask lillies in an excel spreadsheet, and now down to business.

I-cord went well, fun to try something different. The balls were wound up such that they were ready to go, colourwise.

I get a thrill each time the nuances change. I get a kick out of the delicate turns, the lovely sticky almost …scottish to the touch… feel of the Kauni wool.
