This is very heavily modified. I’ll try to summarize what I did differently so I can come back and make another some time:

• Did not finish off the head after reducing to six stitches. Instead, I just crocheted another round of six sts. (In the future, I’d skip that second round.)

• Increased the body to 20 sts, went ahead & crocheted two rounds even, and then reduced from 20 sts to 16 and then to 8 before finishing off.

• Ears are a heavily modified version of the other linked pattern. There I started out with 3 HDCs instead of 5 DCs. I increased every other row until I had 9sts, worked one more round even, and then decreased every other row until I had only one stitch left (decreasing over 3 sts on the very last row).

• The tail is a so-so pom pom made by wrapping yarn around my little plastic needle case 30 times. You can kinda tell it’s the second pom pom I’ve ever made in my life.
