Notes

Using the recommended needle size since the designer professes to also be a loose knitter. That’s refreshing.

Used Chinese waitress cast on with a crochet hook. Almost getting fast at it.

Do I really need another soaker? No. Have my fingers stopped hurting enough that it’s even reasonable to be knitting right now? Also no. But this is a cute project and hopefully won’t take too much time from my baby blanket project.

Through some finagling, managed to pick up 48 sts around the first leghole. 6 rounds k2p2 rib, suspended bind-off. Used 4mm needles for these since my 3.75mm needles seem to have run away.

I love this so much. I wish I had discovered this pattern while still pregnant; I would have made bunches. The natural trim with the colored body is such a great look, and the garter stitch portion neatly disguises my still-questionable Kitchener stitch.
