I’ve been looking for the perfect mesh top and this one ticks all the boxes. The only minor thing is I’m not a fan of garter stitch so I’m doing the stripes in stocking stitch instead. Looks fine in the swatch, so hopefully it won’t cause any insurmountable issues down the line.

17 July: got to a nice length for the body and put the stitches on hold while I started the sleeves.

22 July: blocking.

23 July: finished!

Modifications:

Stocking stitch stripes instead of garter.

I-cord bind off instead of ribbing.

Cropped length.

Cap sleeves – I finished the short rows, worked to the end of the lace repeat, then bound off in i-cord.
