I absolutely love this shawl! I want to wear it all day, inside and out.

Although the finished result looks very simple, I found I had to pay attention to the pattern. It was not mindless knitting, but would still be good for a beginner lace knitter.

I knit the pattern exactly as written, no modifications. I wet-blocked the finished piece on wires to make sure the ribs were just stretched enough.
