This is working up quickly. I used a lifeline every 10 rows or so in the yoke section in case I lost track of the increases.

Once you’re past the yoke it’s pretty mindless, so it’s suitable for knitting in front of the TV.

20 July: reached about 25cm length from the underarm and got to the end of a ball, so decided to stop the body there (for now) and started the first sleeve.

10 August: started the second sleeve (project on hold while I was on holiday).

24 August: finished! Very happy with it. It’s going to be useful for cool winter evenings and for indoors when the air conditioning is set to arctic.

Modifications: i-cord bind off; i-cord edging instead of a button band; ties instead of buttons.

Pattern positives: clear and easy to follow.

Pattern negatives: not size-inclusive.

Yarn positives: lovely hand and texture, with a worn-in feel. Feels very comfortable on the skin.

Yarn negatives: a bit splitty.
