The climate proved too much for Wheelie number 1 and it fell apart. I’ll probably have to make a new one at the beginning of every summer.

This time, I left off the scalloped edging and eyelet row, and instead of tying it on with I-cord, I sewed it in place. Consequently it moves around a lot less than wheelie #1.

Update December 2010: this one fell apart as well. I think it lasted about 6 months. Hardly surprising when it’s 50C outside the car.
