Love the pattern. Such a quick knit too! Pleasantly surprised by the yarn. Soft and very comfortable against the skin. Got it on sale for only 50c a ball so the cardigan cost me less than $5!

Made a few mods:

• Sleeves - 3/4 length sleeves. Knit 43 rounds. Decrease 8 sts (2 sts for every 11 rnds) in rnd 44. Then 2x2 rib for 9 rnds to match bottom hem.

• Shawl collar - Using the short rows method found in Brownstone pattern by Jared Flood.

• Buttonhole band - Added 2 extra sts when picking up along edges so that the ribbing starts and ends with P3 or K3. The extra sts will curl in so the 2x2 rib looks consistent. Made wider band ie 15 rows in total. BO in pattern using 7mm needles.

• Buttonholes - Start buttonholes at row 8 (RS). Use buttonhole method for K2P2 ribbing at page 337 of “The Knitting Answer Book”. Knit (in pattern) for 11 sts, 2 sts for buttonholes, k 14 sts, 2 sts for buttonholes, k 14 sts, 2 sts for buttonholes, k to end.

• Buttons - 3 cm wide x 3
