This is from leftover yarn for donation. I used the tubular cast on starting with a crochet hook.

Ended the cuffs and hem with the sewn bind off to match the cast on.

Pattern could have been more specific about sleeve length and a schematic would have sufficed.

For the hat I knit a stockinette beanie on 84sts. At 5.5” from cast on started decreases every 6 or 7 sts alternating a dec round with a plain round.
For the ears, I picked up 8sts, knit 3 rows then decreased at each end. Knit one row, decreased at each end on the next 2 rows then k2tog and pulled the yarn tail through.
