The neck was too big on the sweater so I cut the yarn near the neck body join and re-knit it (twice) from body up. Finally got it right and I’m happy with it. The trick was to knit the first round then work k1p1 rib. Whew!

Shortened the sleeves to wrist length and made the slightly narrower. Sixty sts decreased to 50sts at the ribbing.

This is certainly going to be a warm sweater. Photos after blocking
