Decided to try this - glad I did, because it’ll be too complicated to do when I’m in hospital - I’ll want something repetitive for that.

I know already I’d like to play around with colour and maybe add an extra round!!

R4: trying his with extra sts in the corners, to reduce the gaps. Using yellow instead of white.
N.B. only ch1 in the corner-sps

R4: instead of final (dtr, ch2, tr, dc), I did: (tr, ch1, dc, hdc)

Restarting after a period of inactivity and struggling to remember what I’ve done!!

Can’t get my head around the fact that R4 (where you “square” it off) isn’t symmetrical - I mean, why?!?! Has no-one else had this problem?!

Need to mirror the 2nd square to make a chicken, but it’s tricky because it’s NOT SYMMETRICAL!!! It’s driving me crazy…

Still tearing my hair out trying to figure out the mirror image version. Have had to adjust a few sts to make sure there isn’t a tr next to a sc (for example). It wasn’t as easy as just swapping the 2 ‘taller’ corners - unfortunately :(

Added R5 in hdc, then R6 in sc.

Whole mirrored square is not brilliant, but I’ll put up with it as a chicken.
