Read the instructions carefully for charts C and D. It’s very easy to misinterpret how to work those charts if you don’t look at them closely.

Update: read the instructions carefully for all charts. The charts are sound, but they are pretty complicated and easy to get confused on. Do not attempt while tipsy or sleep deprived.

Cast off!!!

I blocked this shawl a couple weeks ago and now have the time to jot down some notes. Blocking this shawl required all of my t-pins plus some sewing pins when I ran out. I also did some guess work as to how to stretch the wings based on what I liked in other Raveler’s versions of the shawl.

The shawl completely transformed with blocking. It is quite a bit wider than I expected, which makes it even more beautiful than I expected when draped.
