22/09 Ailsa would like a blanket with purple, black and yellow. She likes viola, saffron from style craft special. I’ve been doing some research and am tempted to make a test square with 2 more shades of purple alongside 2 or 3 yellow shades. I think I could do some dramatic shading and lots of contrasting sections. Joining - yellow. Thinking of finishing each square then doing one round of black then purple backpost. Double knit will mean adding on will add size too.

Also brainwave! Will try out carrying colour changing rows up the back of the work
