I have always struggled with multi colored granny squares. I have a hard time not trying to control the way the colors look together and so they always look a little Roy G Biv. So, I wrote out a chart and follow it NO EXCEPTIONS.

Go into your stash or store and pick 11 colors. Set one aside and your joining color. Lay out the remaining 10 and label them A-J. (I always take a picture of them laid out, print it off, and write on the picture so I can always see the order even if I lose my labels.) Then follow this chart. The squares will be about a foot square so plan accordingly!

Finish off each square with the color you choose for joining. This should make each granny square 11 rows. Join them in the order you like with the method you prefer and then edge it the way you want too and enjoy!!!
